Forum Theme Competition - Running until 1st August 2016 END

I'm enrolling, and maybe I will employ the help of Alson. I give all the gold if I win to him.

Our theme will be:
Steam-Alson team - SFW Gachimuchi

ShufleBot-Nekomini whatever cant speel

I need 20g to move some equipment between my tanks, so this could be my big chance. I don't know anything about finding pictures and graphical editing, but I should be fine.

ohwell, let's try this just for the heck of it.
A bit dissappointed that there's no Girls&Panzer category but oh well, guess that goes in the free category then~

Well, I don't know about the others but I'm having difficulties knowing how I should even begin at designing a theme.
And I don't really feel like making one, because I like the one we have now

The time has come to start this thing, I guess (I totally didn't steal that from Haffi...), so you guys that have signed up in advance for this
ye are free to go whenever ya feel like it.
Also, I had a sign-up period so I can give permissions all at once, but if some still wanna join this, by all means, contact me, and I shall arrange it.

Now some stuff, so that it will be easy for ya guys.
For those of ya participating, click the Admin Button on the Menu Bar.
Like here:

Click the Theme section (should be the only one there):


Easy, huh?
Click on Theme Manager next, if ya could:


This is so that ya can set the data file for yer editing.
Do so by clicking new theme, and enter the name of it.
So that we know who is doing what, for now enter yer name and the category that ya entering, so that we know what to judge.

(Also, as ya can see, we have a limit to the amount of data we can store (we can pay to increase, but, ya know....), so try to keep an eye on yer image sizes.)

Once that's done, the fun part begins.
Click on the name of yer newly created theme, and it will bring up a fancy page with all sorts of stuff.

Fill this out, if ya will.

Then, on teh top, if ya want to make custom icons for yer theme, click the button on the top that says "Images", and it will show ya something like this:

Ya use this to change the icons, but is not necessary, though it will certainly add a unique touch.

Save theme, and move back to the main Theme page, and this time click "Advanced styles & CSS".


This is where ya will do all the editing. It comes with a visual editor, so almost all changes will be noticeable immediately.

Looks daunting at first, and it is not always clear what edits what, but some playing around with it (while switching between pages) should
reveal what does what.

Once ya done, click save, and await the voting.


If ya feel like yer work will get lost, or whatever, feel free to export the theme file to yer PC for safe keeping.
I also expect ye guys to only modify yer own files, and not to mess up other peoples work.
If I find out ya are up to no good, I will revoke yer rights, and remove ya from the competition.

No real idea how long I will let this run, though I should say the finishing it a few days before YATTA's second birthday sounds good enough.
So 1st August 2016 is as good a day as any, and it gives us a few days to decide who wins what.
