We had to rebuild our Database a bit, so some of us do not have a YATTA tag anymore. We will give it back as soon as ya appear again on the TeamSpeak. Sorry about the inconvenience, but it had to be done for security reasons.
Also, this will be a little rant, but it's better to talk about it now than never. Yesterday, I have gone into the main SQL database on our teamspeak. Put it blunt, there were a lot of cross-references, etc., made by users. I think that the more system administrators the teamspeak has, the more it will get out of hand. Fortunately, because Arf came to me with a problem, these big scars inside our TS surfaced. I'm still currently repairing it. Incidentally, I will going to revoke a lot of administrative rights from people. As it seems, because of the bad database, there is currently 9 administrators. This number will be at most 4, because they are 4 people who have anything to do with actually managing the teamspeak, or has the rights to manage it.
I would like to push some guidelines here, how to keep our teamspeak clean:
1. Creating custom tags will be restricted a lot. The main problem is usually that people just copy a tag from wherever, instantly giving it administrative rights by accident. A lot of copying, deleting, and changing can create cross-references, which you could say is almost like dividing by zero in this case.
2. No changing the name, or anything of a channel. First of all, it is Failure's job to manage the channels. No other can change them, only their own channel (if they have it). This will also be controlled by permission levels soon.
3. No multiple accounts for the same person, or no "joke" accounts. Yesterday, I accidentally banned one of our players, because someone played a prank on him. Please refrain for making things like these.
It's for the betterment of the teamspeak. Nobody wants a laggy, bad-working teamspeak.
