For the lazy ones, it starts on the 19th April 2016 and last for two weeks until 2nd May 2016. The tier we will play will be 8, and the region this time will be South and South-East Asia.
The Reward tank will be the Chieftain/T95 and 8000 will be available. The reward system for the tank has changed a small bit, and will now be awarded by personal Fame Points. So the more and better ya play, the more points ya get. So that means the more active we are during the campaign, the higher chance of of getting the tank we will have.
For this, we need at least 10 people that can afford (time and money wise) to play cw in the evenings, quite possibly in all three time zones, just to fill the activity requirements.
More details as we progress closer to the actual start date, until then, we should probably start playing a lot of tier 8 Stronghold for practice purposes, and some of ya should try to grind towards the tanks we need if ya are not too far off.
Also, please leave a reply below if ya gonna be playing or not, so we know who we can count on and who not.
Thanks guys.

Depends on the amount of school work, but I should be available most of the time. Just going to participate for the medals though, since the tank doesn't really interest me that much, but it would be nice to get one.
I'm in as usual. Don't really give a toss about the tank (...that glorious cupola that can be penned with HE) but i'm in for the fun of it in the first place anyway.
As far as tanks go, RU & STA-1/2 are ready (2 has better HEAT rounds) and able with good crews, should have the 50-100 by the time this starts but can't promise a great crew (3 skill) for it right away as i don't have a HT frenchie crew grinder and haven't advanced in the HT2-15 at all, as i was planning originally to toss a fem crew in this one for faster grinding.

Have 2 weeks of exams, starting 18th ending 30th April which means, count me in. EDIT: Considering time when battles are fought, I won't definitely be able to be there 24th at all and maybe 1st battle on 19th, depending on when is it anyway.

I should be available for the most of it. Gotta attend some stupid lessons from the 18th to 22nd so I might not feel like playing during the first 3 days though.
Alright guys, thanks for all yer help with this, I'm pretty sure we can do something. Just be aware that since we are trying to play a lot, that it might become very costly, so better grind some spare credits. Also updated first post with a link to proper rules for the event.
We will probably arrange to meet on Sunday or Monday to discuss how we are going to proceed and organize everything then.
And so the Typhoon has come and gone, leaving much destruction and poverty in its wake.
Considering our Clan, and the amount of practice we put in, we actually did much better than expected. We even managed to last the whole event, and didn't give up halfway through, which gives much hope for future events.
In the global standing, we still managed to get 944th place out of 2310, so we at least made it into the top 50%, which is an acceptable result. It also seems that Mines is our best map so far, though we still have some trouble countering enemy rushes, but still, we got some insight into how the meta changed over the last few months, which is always helpful.
Our highest scoring members during the Campaign were Steam and Dream with 281 points each, putting them at 14971st and 14977th place respectively, followed by Haffi with 278 points at 15049th place. A full ranking list can be found here: Internal Clan Ranking
Well played everyone, unfortunately, it wasn't enough to get the tank. But there is always next time. I also appreciate all the time and resources everyone of ye put into this to make it as successful as we did.
Of course, it is no surprise that FAME came first, even though they didn't seem to do much the first couple of days. A staggering win rate of 92.31% over 260 battles is a strong reminder that we still have a long way to go. Their resident cat lord also made some videos which are funnier than they should be, I will just post them here, because even though they are cheap, they were still plenty amusing. Enjoy them, and hopefully, one day we will be in one of those videos.
Once again, thanks everyone, well played, and look forward to next weeks large tournament, our Fun day, and our play with friends rampage meeting.
Well i allready said this in TS but might as well do it on the forums as well
From an FC's point of view, i'd like to thank everyone who participated in this operation. I am well aware that this was a bit of an expensive practice run on T8 as we usually play at 6, but looking from the point that we still are more fun-based clan anyway, we did damn well in my opinion. And we actually got a team up every evening which hasn't allways been guaranteed like that, even if it was hectic at times
We won some games, (some good clans too, not just the ones at our level!) and lost some. Somehow our most successful map ended up being mines, but then again we had some runs on it even on tier 6 so i shoudn't be that surprised about it, since i know we can do this as well. Even if we had some mixups and some non-meta setups at times, we still ended up within the top 50% in the EU standing. While i personally wasn't gunning for the tank, i would have wanted to get a province for us even for one day just to fill up the treasury for a bit, but that one was just a bridge too far with all of the top 100 clans on this map and that's pretty much the only gripe i have from this Typhoon run.
Nevertheless, well fought guys! Even if we didn't get the tank, atleast we had fun playing in the Typhoon...we'll just grab the next tank that comes!
