As ya have all probably noticed by now, we have started to use a new chat engine, simply for the fact that there were some problems with Chatangoo in the workplace and through proxies. So for now we are doing trials on the new system, and we see how that works out in the long run, so expect it to last around 2 - 3 months or so. Until that time comes, both chat engines will be running along side each other, so ya can use whichever one ya prefer. As of now, I have zero intention of shutting down one or the other, even after trials end, though that in itself might cause some problems with people missing information, or both rooms only being half-full. So I will see how that works out, and once the time comes, we as clan will vote on what happens then. Until then, have fun, try out the new chatbox, and see how ya like it. If ya really need to, ya can leave feedback in a reply, and we see what ya have to say about it.
Eh, I don't feel like creating a new account just for a new chat window when everybody uses chatango anyway...
Well, you still should create it. Keep the forum open, it has the windows implemented next to each other. If you don't do it, then you will miss those who cannot talk from work, because of proxy problems. By the way, yesterday the majority of chat happened over chatwing. Also, I'm not curious about whining, but real technical and impelentation problems.

To be fair Arf, everyone uses chatwing right now. The only ones using chatango are those who post 3 messages and log off again. The reason I keep my chatango open is just to read those 3 messages, but as steam said, most chat is going through chatwing now.
I don't know what about that was whining, but sure, I guess. If all the regulars HAVE moved over to the new chat window then I have no reason not to do the same.
Most likely, lots of us occasionally look at chatango, because of those who still not using the new one. Btw, the new chat engine does some craty stuff sometimes, so do tell me if that happens. (like, recognizing words as links, etc.)
I think there's no problem with chatango, chatwing is nice if it works correctly, I remember there being a lot of problems with it last time i used it, but if that's been fixed since then, I think we should totaly switch over, also, I still need to check if chatwing works on older pc's (dualcore xp calculators with a horribly outdated flash-install)
Looks like over the course of the last 2,5 months, people migrated to chatwing completely. I recommend removing the chatango windows from the forum, and concentrate making a bug-list of chatwing, so I could work on it.
As far as I checked, it's not possible with this engine, although that doesn't mean I cannot program into it. Eventually, if you guys make me a list, I will go through every line and try to do something about stuffs like these.
