Since Steam is gonna be home this week, and he said he might wanna make some virtual money, and I kinda wanna play game too, I thought to myself "what better time than now to see if we can not try something new?".
My plan for the next game was that we are actually splitting up into teams (like 2 or 3 a side, depending on players), and then play a short game, somewhere around 25 - 50 years or so and whichever team has the most worth at the end wins. Or some other victory condition, I don't mind.
Just for something different, ya know.
Can also be modded or un-modded, I don't mind about that either, but some settings should be changed for quality of life (like station spread, max. train length, max. bridge length and all that jazz).
Or we just play a normal single player game, but we already did that. And we never finished our Mountain in the Middle game......I blame Zimmerson. (Maybe Steam can take over his company?)
Err, for those of ya interested, ya should probably reply here and we figure out a day this week, but not Friday, because it's movie night (unless too much time).

Oh man, I really need to get some sleep. Because of "TD" in board's name, my first thought was that it's about some tower defense game (I blame W3 and LegionTD mod). So when you mentioned virtual money, my brain lagged a bit. But when you mentioned "play a short game, somewhere around 25 - 50 years" it froze. What tower defense game takes years, what money, whaaat. Not even ctrl-alt-del could help with it. Then came some trains, bridges, mountains aaand had to unplug the brain from powersource and restart it. Ok so considering I didn't know what OpenTTD stands for, I'd say I'll skip it this time since I don't know how to play nor have time to learn it due to cyka marathon, moving to another apartment and some administrative bullshit at university.
Have fun, sorry for rant. :] What are you testing anyway, thought firefox broke somehow again?

Don't worry about it, dude. OpenTTD is short for Open Transport Tycoon Deluxe, one of the best simulation games from the early 90's redone in open source. Simple to play, easy to learn, hard to master, and super addictive. Once ya done with everything, maybe join us for a game.
Good luck with the move, though, those are always a pain in the butt.
And just testing to add some stuff for quality of weeb life (Announcement soon).
