I'm a bit late with this already, but as ya all have probably seen by now, the next CW campaign starts on the 15th of November. Since it's another 3-stage event, we will try to play the tier 6 and 8 stages if we can, just to get medals and stuff (and hopefully some gold).
We don't have very many details yet, because Wargaming is almost as lazy as I am, so we probably have to wait until 2 days into the event before we know the rules.
So for those of ya who are able, we need about 10 people on a daily basis, so if ya could help out, it would be appreciated. I might even try to play some games myself... (And this totally interferes with my KanColle event.....grrr.)
I update this once we have more info.
PS. Corrida almost sounds like Corridor, so maybe it's a secret hint that we should be bringing all heavies for corridor maps? Maybe we get a new corridor map for this event? Should we drive our tanks in two columns and create a corridor?
No worries, yer actually earlier than last time Fail
Rules got posted earlier today (<-- clicky for a link to it) and yup, 3 stages:
Stage 1: This stage will be played in Tier 6 vehicles. Stage 2: This stage will be played in Tier 8 vehicles. Stage 3: This stage will be played in Tier 10 vehicles.
Stage 3 worries me abit since i know that we don't have a ton of T10's, even me with 15k games only has 2 of those...but as far as stages 1 & 2 are concerned we should have enough guys those runs. They didn't mention anything about gold income while holding provinces yet, and the prizepool has me wondering that will same rules apply as what was going on in this experimental CW run that we have been skipping since they killed T6 CW. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens, and they did allso mention that there will be different requirements on each stage which ain't even out yet, 'prob just for the fame points anyway? (it's WG afterall)
Nevertheless, i'm in, either as a FC or as a tanker. As usual the reward tanks don't really interest me that much, but i have been in these just for the fun of it anyway and that hasn't changed...even though these events do kill yer credits fast if ya don't run prem accounts, but hey, it's only a game and ya have to be mad

Allright, Stage 1 rules went up today and all i can say from the treasury's viewpoint is fuck you WG...
Anyways, stage 1 of the fifth campaign will take place from 15 November at 9:15 CET until 23 November 9:00 CET. Looks like this will last well into December, but no end date has been given and can't even count it from this since WG said that there will be breaks between the stages, best guess at it would be 3 days for a break then another 9 days of action? Don't quote me on that though.
Won't post every rule here, but as usual battles in T6 are 7vs7, no tank locking, no auctions...but no income from provinces & no ransacking either. During the first day of the event, every province is a landing province, after that it's the usual bussiness.
Stage 1 maps are:
Abbey, Cliff, Ensk, Himmelsdorf Malinovka, Mines, Murovanka Prokhorovka, Sand River and Steppes

Lets be clear, I hate grinding in games and it makes me hate the game even though I like it. And t-44/100 marathon made me hate all my hobbies to the point I ended up studying just to keep my self entertained throughout a day. Why I wrote paragraph from above here is to explain why I most likely won't be (and am not since marathon ended) in WoT for the time being. Unless you really, really need more players for a battle then I'm in. I'll probably be on TS somewhere when campaign starts so you can notify me if needed.
Consider this as some kind of Leave of Absence post which I forgot to post few weeks ago.
P.S. WG decided (seems so far) that autoaim+ falls into cheat category so I might get banned for it if they already started banning people. Guess I can just forget shoting at move since I can't accurately rightclick 300m target. Funny thing is they list it as OK mod on RU and NA. And Dream, a mod for you: forum.worldoftanks.eu/index.php?/topic/587876-0916-arty-log-mod-updated-04102016/ It sums up all the damage arty did to you throughout your gaming session. A must have. :]
EDIT: Some typos and will update the list of my tanks soon, just for logistics sake.

Well can't blame ya there Filip, i can imagine the 44/100 marathon being a pain in the ass tbh. If ya don't feel like it yer not forced into action, we are more of a social clan anyway than a tryhard one, but it's still a shame we got alot of our active guys sorta dropping out from this.
Hopefully ya won't get banned from it, even though i'm completely against such things...and fuck arty, period.

This is the exact reason I never do any marathons. The thing is, the game has tons of tanks, why would I exactly need that one? I rather concentrate on our community play, rather than grinding a tank.
Enjoy yer break, and I knew something like that would happen, so I didn't even do the marathon (even though I should have). I'd say we are gonna be okay for the tier 6 stage anyway, though I might have to ask ya for the tier 8 part, but at the same time, if ya don't feel like it, I won't force ya to play either.
And yea, screwing over the treasury is a bit annoying, but we see what will happen during the next season, hopefully they restore tier 6 and provide a decent income so we can replenish a bit (even though we still have a decent amount for now).
Neat. I have played it way too much lately, to the point where it took up all my time. It was kinda worth it, though. I kinda miss playing tanks as well, but my sleeping schedule is so messed up that I am not awake for playtime .
And while I'm here, Campaign starts tomorrow, and our plan is to see if we can land on a Cliffs province, and then we just have to hold it for the week. Since provinces do not provide income, our goal is to pad fame points, so we might have to endure some strategic losses here and there, or even a draw is fine (if we own the province). Since there will be no tank locking, it's also quite possible that we will join some battles just for fun, and not care so much about the outcome. Hopefully we can get a province on a timezone border so we can pad more battles, though those are usually quite contested, so we see how that works out.
See ya guys tomorrow evening, start time is 20.00 Euro time, 19.00 England time, and 21.00 Finland and Greece time. (That's when the matches start, so be there 15 minutes before that by the latest, please.
