Project Zomboid is an open-ended zombie-infested sandbox. It asks one simple question – how will you die?
In the towns of Muldraugh and West Point, survivors must loot houses, build defences and do their utmost to delay their inevitable death day by day. No help is coming – their continued survival relies on their own cunning, luck and ability to evade a relentless horde. A true hardcore sandbox zombie survival RPG with a focus on realistic survival.
Thought i'd make a post about it since it seemed to catch some interest in the birthday event. As MHW does require a stronger PC rig for people to play as there isn't any crossplay between PC and Console players so here would be another option of a possible multiplayer game. It doesn't have any huge requirements, hell it's not even a graphical masterpiece but it gets the job done. There is some learning to do in the game and it takes a while to get into it and what ya can do, but after that initial start, it becomes a second nature.
The only downside i suppose is that it costs ~14€ on Steam. While there isn't exactly an ending to the game, the task is to survive as long as ya can before eventually going down in a blaze of glory one way or another as dying of thirst or starving to death doesn't sound like an option. As of late we have been testing it during the week with some people, and we are going to play a bigger MP event on Friday onwards (17.8.18, somewhere in the evening) If people are interested in it, don't be a stranger as the server has more player slots than we have members in the WoT clan (RIP WoT active play 2014-2017)
Just remember...no guns without silencers, allright? Otherwise ya will doom us all!

But..... I never told this to anybody, but it turns out I'm actually scared of pixel zombies, so count me out....

And he get's back up!!! What an astounding feat! I was only joking, I will join and plant my lovely poles in only the best locations. (Sorry about that, I felt mischievous.)
I just need to find more money, and we can maybe get some more decoys.... cannon fodder..... fack, players I meant.
Soo...would anyone be interested in a challenge game next weekend? (9-11.11.2018)
As the new weather patch confirmed that the house was abit...buggy to say the least, we were chatting around with some ideas about a new game. Basically one of the options was that we would all be police officers and we would have to stay at a police station. Which made me wonder about a challenge game, if we don't want to try HC survival on a station, which is going to be extremely hard.
It would start as quite easy, just like Raccoon city did, but after a week or so...it would be hell on earth Some would try to fortify the place, some would try to go get help (ammo) from other towns, some would gather supplies so we would survive 'till the outside help would arrive (spoiler: which would never arrive)
I'm actually off Sat and Sun, so I will join for some hours (at least) both days. But I also have a suggestion and a question (or two).
First, is it possible we can play this without a bazillion recipes added to the crafting? It's rather overwhelming for someone who only plays a little here and there, and I don't really feel being dragged away from the game just to look up something....
And how heavy do ya wanna roleplay this, if at all? Because ya know me, I'm a dastardly mischievous sort, so I might feel like having some fun while playing, as that usually is what I play games for in the first place. But I also understand that some might want to play more serious mode, but if that happens, I'll still join, though with less random events attached.
I was planning this as a bit of a less-HC game and more of a fun roleplay game where we can within some limits, goof around as well as long as it doesn't lead to someone actually dying because of it. I am most likely allowing the use of minor cheats as well to speed things up, and Hydrocraft isn't needed in this one either, just ORGM so there will be less recipes to worry about. I am thinking about perma-deaths being on in this one as well, if ya die that's that but then there woudn't be any sleep as a plus-side to that danger.
Like said, we pick one of these police stations to defend, and try to survive as long as we can untill our eventual demise.
Most likely this takes ~2 days depending on how long we play, as we need to gather resources before the zombie horde arrives in full force, and for that, we need weapons and ammo. We will see how it goes as it's something i have not tested ever in this game =D
